Mon dieu, I love it and I hate it at the same time..... the winter cleanse!
I've got into this routine that every year I have to cleanse both mind, body and house!
There are total pros and cons to this cleanse and time restraints!
I'm going to start with the cons first .....con is probably the wrong word - REFLECT - on the year that was 2017!
I first go into panic stations - WTF?? another year has passed - I seriously would laugh when my folks ALWAYS made this comment 'life is going so quickly, its already Christmas - again!' I too get kinda of bummed but excited that we get to start fresh again.
BUT those moments, life changing events aren't going to happen again - this makes me feel a little strange.... It makes me want to nail each day with love, energy, determination and courage daily!
My 2017 year had some critical chapters to it... Got married, flew back to Australia three times for Family events, lost my Grandad, new friends were made, my French has improved more then I expected with little time to study, Doterra biz has taken off! My Ashtanga practice has played a pivotal role in my structure and focus. We were able to buy a new little house and move out of our small apartment (that was huge and bloody stressful)!!
Reflecting, it was a massive year of laughs and tears! Celebrations of all kinds...and tough times. Life throws us some curve balls thats for sure!
So now I start shifting my weight transferring my focus to next year.... and I do love focusing on what I can achieve next year - I actually get excited!
I, we (my fam bam) and my dream team kicked some pretty amazing goals this year so GOD knows whats around the corner for 2018!
SO how do I cleanse or detox from the previous year and align for the new year approaching!!
** unscribe from all those random emails you get!! I love doing this at the moment - its a super simple easy DIY cleanse!
** work out what is realistically achievable - ..... from personal, collaborative business, your health and spiritual practices.... list those intentions that you want to achieve. Align an Essential oil, to perhaps help guide you in those practices.
** Clean out those cupboards - especially your little ones (half the clothes don't fit or they don't wear) !!
** Eat seasonal!! This is a huge one!
** Enjoy those colder nights - embrace the seasons - sometimes I believe winter is there to remind us to slow down! Don't get to envious of our gorgeous friends down under having fun in the sun - our time is coming again!
** Shift your mindset for 2018 - create abundance through affirmations, words, images and people who can help you achieve it! Place these in the four categories Spiritual, Physical, Social and Financial.
** Focus on having a routine, your routine creates habits which helps to build you!
** Schedule, vision board it, journal it whatever floats your boat! Im a vision boarder myself BUT I defiantly love to schedule things!
** Try something new - challenge yourself or your family to something creative or new!!!
** Biggest one of all is taking the time for you! Fit it in somewhere - give yourself a pat on the back or pour yourself a champagne reflect on 2017 share your images and now shift that mindset to 2018!
You are responsible for you! You create your reality, your journey, your families journey.... focus on all those elements that are important to you achieving everything that you desire in 2018.
