It is that time of year here in France when the last days of summer has slipped by, low and behold Autumn has dawned on us and then 'boom'..... the temperature just drops. The rain has fallen (which I am happy about), the wind has picked up and there is a slight chill to the air. I love this time of the year, with a change of season it just feels different. However what comes with the change - is the lurking virus that seems to be lingering around. Especially now I have a little one, I guess we become more susceptible to a cough, or a runny nose! I just don't do sick and I hate when my partner gets sick - 'the man flu' - as we call it in our house, as with any man flu it just equals grumpy partner! So in our little abode we have the diffuser going on and off all day long with delicious uplifting aromas - to enhance our spirits and help us breathe better. Right now as Honor is having her siesta for the afternoon, I have the diffuser on with the divine 'Ravintsara essential oil' infusing a beautiful aromatherapy oasis in her bedroom.
Since living in France I have noticed that the French are very much into their essential oils and homeopathic treatments that are to be used alongside traditional western medicine. I think this is a great way to live, to have the two forms of medicines working together. To date I have found that most doctors will ask you in your consultations if you would like to use a homeopathic option as well as issuing an antibiotic should you need it. Its not for everybody I understand but if you feel it can help, enhance or uplift or even just give you an added boost - Im all for it. On this note, I am pretty pumped to let you know I have joined with doTerra as a wellness advocate, so as a member I am entitled to their gorgeous essential wellbeing products and amazing oils at discounted prices...... I am so stocked to be part of their family and can't wait to incorporate them into our life with our existing aromatherapy usage. If you require any love or have some oily love to share let me know! Happy Friday! xx
